Last night I read helplessly as Eddie and then Jake were killed through the ruthless and relentless passage of events known as Ka.
Damn SK, he really meant it when he said that once the katet was broken, the deaths would come quickly. :/
Now I finally put the book down at around 5AM. yeah, I sleep as the sun rises.
And proceeded to have one of the worst dreams I have had in many a year.

More similarities.
As I was continuing my travel towards the Dark Tower, I came upon the point where Roland and his ka-tet were holding palaver and sharing kef inside the cave near the devar-tete.
It was there that I was introduced to a new term, ka-shume.
Ka-shume was described as the feeling one gets when the break up of a ka-tet is near.
I was no longer surprised to see that once more, there is a similar term...

Last night as I was reading the Dark Tower, I stepped out for a little smoke break. I believe twas around 1 am or so. Just as I was half way through, Ethan swung by on his motorcycle. First thing that went through my mind was “‘Tis Ka I suppose.”
If I were not outside at that moment, he proly would have just left in a few minutes.
Dang, this series is really attaching itself...

There are eerie resemblances between the two.

I don’t know if Stephen King was being pert or being trig by writing himself into the Dark Tower series. Probably a little of both, I suppose.
Christmas evening of 2011, the time of closing up the year, I’ll be reading the dark tower for the first time. But I have a feeling that it isn’t going to be the last time.

So ka-babby means siblings?
